§ 71.07  OPERATION OF TRUCKS ON CERTAIN STREETS.
   (A)   No person shall operate a licensed commercial vehicle on any street except on through streets within the Village limits, except that the vehicles may be operated thereon for the purpose of delivering or collecting persons, materials, or merchandise or performing some service to residents, and then only by entering the street from the nearest through street.
   (B)   Through streets, as designated in Chapter 74, Schedule I, may be traveled upon by all licensed commercial vehicles unless signs are erected which prohibit the vehicles per se or limit the weight of the vehicles.
   (C)   Excepted from the above requirements are:
      (1)   Licensed commercial vehicles with classifications “A,” “B,” or other licensed classification whose gross weight is less than 8,000 pounds, as well as franchised transit and emergency vehicles exhibiting normal emergency markings, light and/or sirens; and

      (2)   All licensed commercial vehicles over 8,000 pounds otherwise permitted to park pursuant to § 72.15.
