§ 70.99  PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person who violates any provision of this chapter for which no penalty is provided shall be subject to the terms of § 10.99.
   (B)   Any person who violates the provisions of the Illinois Vehicle Code, adopted in § 70.02, shall be subject to the payment of a fine of not more than $500 for each violation; provided, however, that the driving while under the influence of alcohol, other drug, or combination thereof shall be a Class A misdemeanor subject to a maximum fine of $1,000 or imprisonment of up to 1 year, or both the fine and imprisonment.
