The boundaries of the Wards shall be as follows:
(a) First Ward. The First Ward shall contain all that territory bounded and described as follows:
Beginning in the most westerly corporation line of the City, at its center line of Detroit Road (State Route 254); thence northerly along such westerly corporation line to the southerly shore of Lake Erie; thence easterly along the southerly shore of Lake Erie to the center line of the Rocky River; thence southeasterly along the center line of the Rocky River, which is the easterly corporation line of the City, to its intersection with the center line of the Norfolk Southern Railway Bridge; thence southwesterly along the center line of the Norfolk Southern Railway Bridge to its intersection with Lake Road (State Route 6); thence northwesterly and westerly along the center line of Lake Road (State Route 6) to its intersection with the center line of Wagar Road; thence southerly along the center line of Wagar Road to its intersection with the center strip of Interstate 90 right-of-way; thence westerly to its intersection with the center line of Detroit Road (State Route 254); thence westerly along the center line of Detroit Road to the westerly corporation line of the City, to the place of beginning.
(b) Second Ward. The Second Ward shall contain all that territory bounded and described as follows:
Beginning in the westerly corporation line of the City at its intersection with the most southerly corporation line of the City; thence northerly along such westerly corporation line to its intersection with the center line of Detroit Road (State Route 254); thence easterly along the center line of Detroit Road (State Route 254) to its intersection with the center line of Southbend Drive; thence southeasterly and southerly along the rear property line of those properties on the westerly side of Southbend Drive to a point which intersects the northerly property line of the Rocky River City Hall property; thence easterly along the northerly property line of the Rocky River City Hall property and extending to a point which intersects with the center line of Wagar Road; thence southerly along the center line of Wagar Road to its intersection with the center line of Center Ridge Road (State Route 20); thence westerly along the center line of Center Ridge Road (State Route 20) which is the southernmost corporation line of the City to its intersection with an extension of the rear properties on the westerly side of West 214th Street, which is the corporation line of the City; thence southerly along such corporation line of the City to its intersection with an extension of the rear property line of those properties on the northerly side of Westwood Road, which is the southerly corporation line of the City; thence westerly along such southerly corporation line of the City to the place of beginning.
(c) Third Ward. The Third Ward shall contain all that territory bounded and described as follows:
Beginning on the center line of Westway, at its intersection with the center line of Wagar Road; thence easterly along such center line of Westway to its intersection with the center line of Northview Road; thence northerly along the center line of Northview Road to the center line right-of-way of Interstate I-90; thence easterly to the easternmost corporation line of the City, which is the center line of the Rocky River; thence northerly along the center line of the Rocky River which is the easternmost corporation line of the City, to its intersection with the Cleveland Metropolitan Park property line, which is the northerly most corporation line of the City to its intersection with the center line of the Rocky River; thence southerly, westerly and northerly along the center line of the Rocky River which is the eastern most corporation line of the City, to its intersection with the center line of the Norfolk Southern Railway Bridge, thence southwesterly along the center line of the Norfolk Southern Railway Bridge, to its intersection with Lake Road (State Route 6); thence northwesterly and westerly along the center line of Lake Road (State Route 6) to its intersection with the center line of Wagar Road; thence southwesterly along the center line of Wagar Road; thence southerly along the center line of Wagar Road to its intersection with center line of Interstate 90 right-of-way; thence westerly to its intersection with Detroit Road (State Route 254); thence westerly along the center line of Detroit Road (State Route 254) to its intersection with the center line of Southbend Drive; thence southeasterly and southerly along the rear property line of those properties on the westerly side of Southbend Drive to a point which intersects with the northerly property line of the Rocky River City Hall property; thence easterly along the northerly property line of the Rocky River City Hall property line and extending to a point which intersects with the center line of Wagar Road; thence northerly along the center line of Wagar Road to the center line of Westway, to the place of beginning.
(d) Fourth Ward. The Fourth Ward shall contain all that territory bounded and described as follows:
Beginning on the center line of Center Ridge Road at its intersection with the center line of Wagar Road; thence northerly along the center line of Wagar Road to a point which would intersect the center line of Westway; thence easterly along the center line of Westway to its intersection with the center line of Northview Road; thence northerly along the center line of Northview Road to its intersection with the center line right-of-way of Interstate I-90; thence easterly to the corporation line of the City; thence southerly along the easterly corporation line of the City to the most southeasterly corner of the City; thence westerly along the southerly corporation line of the City to the Center line of Wooster Road; thence southerly along the center line of Wooster Road to the Southerly corporation line of the City; thence westerly along such southerly corporation line to a westerly corporation line of the City which is about four hundred feet (400') west of the center line of Linden Road; thence northerly along such westerly corporation line to the center line of Center Ridge Road; thence southwesterly along the center line of Center Ridge Road to its intersection with the center line of Wagar Road, to the place of beginning.
The subdivision of the City of Rocky River into four (4) Wards, as provided for in Section 105.02, paragraphs (a), (b), (c) and (d) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Rocky River shall take effect and be in force from and after January 1, 2003 for elective purposes, and from and after January 1, 2003 for governmental purposes.
