8-5-2: APPLICATION FOR SITE DEVELOPMENT PERMIT:
   A.   Application for a site development permit shall be made in writing to the Building Department by the owner of record or his authorized agent and submitted on forms furnished by the Director of Community Services for that purpose, together with all other items specified in a site development permit application checklist. The Director of Community Services may from time to time update and revise the requirements of the site development permit application. At a minimum, the application shall contain the following items to the extent applicable and indicate whether each relevant item on the site development permit application checklist has been furnished: (Ord. 07-4-6, 4-17-2007)
      1.   A completed tree removal permit application (if necessary for purposes of the Riverwoods tree and woodland protection ordinance).
      2.   A tree inventory and survey delineating the extent of any protected woodland (if necessary for purposes of the Riverwoods tree and woodland protection ordinance) prepared by a professional landscape consultant. (Ord. 07-4-6, 4-17-2007; amd. Ord. 18-03-05, 3-6-2018)
      3.   A completed watershed development permit application (if necessary for purposes of the Lake County watershed development ordinance).
      4.   A copy of the Lake County wetland inventory map as furnished by the Village to the applicant on which the applicant shall indicate the subject property.
      5.   A copy of the special flood hazard area map as furnished by the Village to the applicant on which the applicant shall indicate the subject property.
      6.   A copy of the zoning map of the Village as furnished by the Village to the applicant and on which the applicant shall indicate the subject property.
      7.   A site development plan prepared by a professional engineer on behalf of the applicant in accordance with the detailed provisions of the Development Handbook.
      8.   Architectural drawings.
      9.   The elements of a site preparation plan as described in section 8-3-3 of this title, unless waived by the Director of Community Services for projects of limited scope and impact on adjoining properties, shall be included in the site development plan drawings.
      10.   A completed site development permit application checklist.
   B.   The Director of Community Services, with the assistance of the Village Engineer and Village Forester, shall prepare the requirements for the contents of a site development plan and other submissions required for a site development permit and shall cause such requirements to be assembled and made available to the public as the site development handbook of the village. Such requirements shall be devised for the purpose of specifying the detailed information and data which are necessary for evaluating applications for site development permits under the relevant ordinances and regulations of the village. All plans, drawings, computations and specifications required for a site development permit application shall be prepared by, or under the supervision of, and signed and sealed by a professional architect, engineer or landscape consultant, as appropriate.
