9-1-23: PENALTIES:
   (A)   General Penalties: Except as otherwise provided for herein, any person convicted of a violation of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be subject to the penalty as provided by section 1-4-1 of this Code.
Any person convicted of a violation of the provisions of section 9-1-11 of this chapter shall be subject to a fine of not less than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) or more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) for each offense.
Any person convicted of a violation of the provisions of section 9-1-25 of this chapter shall be subject to a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) or more than two hundred dollars ($200.00), or such higher amount as may be imposed by 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/11-1301.3 for each offense.
   (B)   Administrative Adjudication Of Certain Violations: Any person accused of violating any of the provisions of this chapter may be issued a violation notice, in lieu of filing a complaint in court against said person for such violation, to be administratively adjudicated pursuant to chapter 6 of this title or title 1, chapter 23 of this Code, where administrative adjudication is authorized by such chapters, and shall be subject to the fines and penalties established therein.
   (C)   Penalties For Certain Illinois Vehicle Code Violations: Any person accused of violating any of the following designated provisions of the Illinois Vehicle Code 1 , which are hereby adopted by reference as part of this chapter, may be issued a violation notice, in lieu of filing a complaint in court against said person for such violation, to be administratively adjudicated pursuant to chapter 6 of this title and the fines and penalties established therein.
