No person shall use any village facilities or any village property for the purpose of conducting a business of any type without express permission by the village board or its designee. It is the intent of this section to make all facilities of the village available to all persons on an equal basis unless the board or its authorized designee has determined otherwise.
No person shall, on any village property including the village street or sidewalk, establish a "stand" or sell merchandise from a motor vehicle, cart, trailer or other similar vehicle without first obtaining authorization from the village board or an authorized designee.
Any person violating provisions of this section shall be required to forfeit not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each offense. Each sale and each date that the activity occurs shall each be deemed a separate offense. (Ord., 8-16-1982)
