The following terms shall be defined as follows:
BATHROOM: | Full bath, including toilet, sink and shower or bathtub. |
OPERATOR: | An Owner or Property Manager who is responsible for the operation of the tourist lodging and for compliance with this Section, collection of rent, and payment of taxes. |
OWNER: | A person who holds legal title to a tourist lodging unit. |
PROPERTY MANAGER: | Any person, other than Owner, appointed by the Owner, operating a tourist lodging establishment or providing management services for tourist lodging. |
RESIDENT AGENT: | Any person appointed by the Owner to act as an agent on behalf of the Owner, as permitted in this Section. |
SHORT-TERM RENTAL: | A resident tourist lodging unit that is offered for rent for a fee and for fewer than 29 consecutive days. |
TOURIST LODGING OR TOURIST LODGING ESTABLISHMENT: | Any place offered for rent to tourists or transients for sleeping accommodations including, but not limited to, hotels, motels, tourist rooming houses, cabins, cottages, or short-term rentals. |
TOURIST LODGING UNIT: | A residential structure or part of a residential structure, including a room, that is used for sleeping and/ or living accommodations by one tourist or a group of tourists. |
VILLAGE: | Village means the Village of Reedsville, WI. (Ord. 2023-01, 3-9-2023) |
