7-1-12: FENCE REGULATIONS:
   A.   Fences cannot extend into the front of a building.
   B.   Fences in a yard that are adjacent to the street or alley must be three feet (3') from any public right-of-way and not exceed three feet (3') in height.
   C.   Setback is three feet (3') from lot line and may not exceed six feet (6') in height in the rear and side of a building.
   D.   All fences shall have their decorative side facing their neighbors or the street.
   E.   Decorative fences are the only fences allowed in front of a building, cannot exceed thirty six inches (36") from ground level, and must have open pattern (weave or board and space).
   F.   Security fences permitted adjacent to lot line in all districts, except residential districts, and may not exceed ten feet (10') in height and shall be of an open type similar to woven wire or wrought iron fencing and may contain three (3) strands of barbed wire.
   G.   Maintenance: All fences need to be maintained and kept safe and in good repair. It is the current property owner's responsibility to maintain the fence and area adjacent to the fence.
