This chapter and the routes created herein are adopted pursuant to the police powers of the village, together with the authority under sections 23.33(8)(b) and (11), Wisconsin statutes. The terms of section 23.33, Wisconsin statutes, are incorporated herein by reference. In the event any provision of this chapter is inconsistent with or in conflict with any portion of section 23.33, Wisconsin statutes, then section 23.33, Wisconsin statutes, shall control and be applicable.
