Except as otherwise provided in this title, the village clerk shall administer and enforce the provisions hereof, including the receiving of applications, the inspection of premises and the issuing of building permits. In cases of violation of the provisions of this title, said inspector shall notify the village attorney who shall issue warrants or such other legal proceedings as are necessary. (1968 Code ch. 12)
