The owner of every principal structure on each lot in the village shall have displayed on the side of the structure facing the adjoining public right of way numbers not less than four inches (4") in height showing the street number assigned to that property by the village. Numbers in script shall not meet the requirements of this section. The owner of such structure shall keep the numbers clear and unobstructed so that they can be readily seen by a person of ordinary eyesight from the adjoining public right of way.
