A. Minimum Fees: The owner of a dog or cat shall pay to the village treasurer annually a minimum license fee for neutered males or spayed females of ten dollars ($10.00) upon presentation of evidence attesting the same, and fifteen dollars ($15.00) for an unneutered male or unspayed female.
B. Kennel Licenses: Dog or cat kennels will not be allowed within the Village.
C. Penalties:
1. A late fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) shall be assessed the owner of each dog or cat five (5) months of age or over who fail to obtain a dog or cat license by April 1 of each year.
2. Any person violating any provision of this section shall be subject to a forfeiture of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) and not more than five hundred dollars, ($500.00). This section shall permit the Village Attorney to apply to the court of competent jurisdiction for a temporary or permanent in junction restraining any person from violating any aspect of this section.
