The grantee shall, at all times during the life of this franchise, be subject to the lawful exercise of the police power of the village and to such reasonable regulations as the village shall hereafter adopt in the exercise of its police power; provided, however, that such additional ordinances shall be reasonable and lawful and shall not unreasonably conflict with or alter in any manner the rights granted herein.
