§ 1492.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Whoever, being the owner, agent of the owner or having control of any property, violates any of the provisions of this chapter, or fails to conform to any of the provisions thereof, or fails to obey any order of the Building Commissioner or his or her duly authorized agent, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and shall be fined not more than $1,000 or imprisoned not more than six months, or both, for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues after notification.
   (B)   Any other person who violates or assists in the violation of this chapter, or of any order or permit issued thereunder, is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $100 for a first offense. For each subsequent offense such person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree and shall be fined not more than $250 or imprisoned not more than 30 days, or both, for each offense.
