ADOPTING ORDINANCE
ORDINANCE #97-52
AN ORDINANCE ENACTING AND ADOPTING THE REVISED CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF READING
WHEREAS: American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio has completed the revision of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Reading which revision contains all Ordinances of a general nature enacted prior to the revision to the Code of Ordinances of this municipality; and
WHEREAS: American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make reference to sections of the Ohio Revised Code; and
WHEREAS: It is the intent of the council to accept this updated revision and updated sections in accordance with the changes of the law of the State of Ohio;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Reading, State of Ohio:
SECTION I: That the 1996 revision of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Reading as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, and as attached hereto, be and the same is hereby adopted in its entirety.
SECTION II: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its date of passage.
