The Safety-Service Director is hereby required to furnish each licensee under this chapter a receipt for the payment of the fee required by § 862.05, which receipt must be exhibited by the licensee upon the request of any police officer of the city, at any time, and which shall constitute proof of the existence of such license. Such receipt shall indicate the time for which the license is issued, the territory or place where the privilege may be enjoyed, and the nature thereof. Such license shall not be assignable and may not be used by any other person.
