§ 230.03 SETTLEMENT OF CLAIMS BY DIRECTOR.
   The Safety-Service Director is hereby authorized to settle various and sundry claims for money only arising in the Department of Public Safety and Service, which are made against the city, when such a claim does not exceed $2,000, provided that such settlement has the written approval of the Mayor and the Director of Law. A claim may be rejected by the Safety-Service Director and shall be rejected by him or her when the written approval of the Mayor and the Director of Law is not forthcoming.
