§ 53.01 REQUIREMENT.
   All individuals in households which use village water and/or sewer service are required to also use the village’s garbage/refuse collection service.

§ 53.02 BASIC CHARGE.
   The basic charge for garbage/refuse collection service, which will be assessed to all water and/or sewer users will be $11.93 per month for a 95-gallon toter and $10.43 per month for a 65-gallon toter. This charge will be billed monthly and will appear on the water and/or sewer statement.

§ 53.03 MULTIPLE UNITS.
   All owners with multiple units will be billed the basic charge for each unit unless individually billed to the tenants.

§ 53.04 PICKUP LOCATION.
   All garbage/refuse shall be placed for pickup on the individual property near the public street. The trash service has provided each property with a company toter to be used at that location. In the event the toter becomes damaged or stolen, a $60 charge will be assessed. No garbage/refuse will be picked up in any alleyways.

§ 53.05 STOCKPILING GARBAGE/REFUSE.
   The stockpiling of garbage/refuse shall be a petty offense for which a fine may be imposed, together with costs and attorney’s fees for enforcement. Each day that violation of this section exists, shall be a separate offense chargeable as such under the provisions of this chapter.
