The areas of special flood hazard identified by FEMA in a scientific and engineering report entitled, "The Flood Insurance Study For LeFlore County, Oklahoma And Incorporated Areas" dated August 16, 2012, with the accompanying flood insurance rate map (FIRM), are hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this chapter. However, until August 16, 2012, the current effective flood maps for the city of Poteau identified by the federal emergency management agency in a flood insurance rate map (FIRM) for city of Poteau, Oklahoma, LeFlore County, effective date January 20, 1982, is hereby adopted by reference.
