It shall be unlawful to keep, harbor, own or in any way possess within the corporate limits of the city:
A. Wild Or Exotic Animals: Any warm blooded, carnivorous or omnivorous, wild or exotic animal excluding fowl, ferrets and small rodents of varieties used for laboratory purposes and excluding exhibitions of animals maintained by a zoological park.
B. Animals With Poisonous Bites: Any animal having a poisonous bite.
C. Pit Bull Dogs: Any pit bull dog; provided, that pit bull dogs registered with the city within ten (10) days of the effective date hereof may be kept within the city subject to the provisions of section 5-7-2 of this chapter.
