§ 154.067 PUBLIC UTILITIES.
   (A)   All utility lines for telephone and electric service shall be placed underground.
   (B)   Where telephone and electric service lines are placed underground entirely throughout a subdivided area, said conduits or cables shall be placed within easements or dedicated public ways in a manner which will not conflict with other underground services. Further, all transformer boxes shall be located so as not to be unsightly or hazardous to the public.
   (C)   All street lighting in a new subdivision shall have sodium vapor lamps and shall conform to the following specifications:
      (1)   All wiring shall be buried.
      (2)   The luminaries shall be high pressure sodium type II 100 watt except at an intersection where the luminaries shall be 150 watt and type II.
      (3)   Street lights will be controlled singularly with photo-electric cells.
      (4)   Light standards (poles) shall be concrete, 25 foot shaft (minimum). The height of the lamp and length of the mast arm shall be determined by the Village Electrical Inspector.
      (5)   A statement shall be submitted to the Village Engineer and Village Electrical Inspector prior to starting work stating that the street lights will be installed in accordance with the specifications set forth herein and in accordance with Commonwealth Edison specifications.
      (6)   Street lighting may be installed in either of the two following methods:
         (a)   Installed by the developer according to Commonwealth Edison specifications including the equipment being installed and the actual physical and electrical installation. A wiring diagram by the developer including specifications of the equipment to be installed shall be submitted to the Village Engineer and the Village Electrical Inspector prior to starting work.
         (b)   Street lighting may be installed by Commonwealth Edison at the developer's expense.
      (7)   The number and precise location of street lights, as determined by the Village Engineer and approved by the Plan Commission and Board of Trustees shall be provided and shall be recorded on all subdivisions. Any easements necessary for street lighting shall be provided and recorded by the developer.
