(A) Easements centered on rear or side lot lines shall be provided as public land for utilities and storm water drainage ways where necessary, and shall be platted and shall not be less than ten feet wide. They may be of greater width if recommended by the Village Engineer and Superintendent of Public Works and approved by the Board of Trustees.
(B) Easements shall be designed to provide continuity from block to block.
(C) Where a subdivision is traversed by a watercourse, drainage way, channel, or stream, there shall be provided a storm water easement or drainage right-of-way conforming and substantially with the lines of such watercourse, and such further width or construction or both, as will be adequate for the purpose. Parallel streets or parkways may be required in connection therewith.
(D) Easements for firelanes shall be designated on the final plat of a subdivision when it is determined necessary to assure adequate fire protection.
