A. Mayor: In recognition of the time and effort now required of the mayor of the city in carrying out the duties of that office, the mayor shall be paid an annual salary of nine thousand dollars ($9,000.00), payable in monthly installments of seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) commencing January 1, 2008.
B. Council Members: In recognition of the time and effort required of council members of the city in the performance of the duties of their respective offices, each council member shall be paid a monthly salary of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00). The salaries fixed by this subsection shall be effective as of and beginning January 1, 2008. (Ord. 543, 8-13-2007)
C. Appointive Officers: The appointive officers of the city shall receive such compensation for their official duties as the mayor and council shall from time to time prescribe. (Ord. 329, 8-31-1973; amd. 1990 Code)
