618.16   RABIES VACCINATION OF DOGS AND CATS REQUIRED.
   (a)   Any person owning, keeping or harboring a dog or cat over the age of three months shall have such animal currently immunized against rabies by a licensed veterinarian.
   (b)   All owners or keepers of a dog or cat as described in division (a) of this section shall maintain a record of such immunization as provided by the veterinarian. Such persons shall provide said proof of immunization to any animal control officer, law enforcement officer, or any other agency with proper authority so inquiring.
   (c)   Whoever violates division (a) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. Whoever violates division (b) of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
