(a) Mortar joints shall be of uniform thickness throughout.
(b) Solid masonry shall be laid in full bed and head joints.
(c) Hollow masonry shall be laid with mortar applied to bed and head joints of face shells except that the first course shall be laid in full mortar bed.
(d) All exterior joints shall be tooled. All exposed interior joints shall be tooled.
(e) No masonry work shall be performed when the temperature is below twenty degrees Fahrenheit unless the area in which the work is being performed is enclosed and heated.
