The owner, agent or person in control of an allegedly unsafe structure shall have the right to appeal from the decision of the Director of Public Service as hereinafter provided and to appear before the Board of Zoning Appeals at a specified time and place to show cause why he should not comply with the notice.
(a) Pursuant to the authority of Article IV, Section 8 of the City Charter, Council grants the power to the Board to hear and determine all appeals for exceptions to and variations in the application of this chapter.
(b) Procedure before the Board of Zoning Appeals shall be the same as outlined in Chapter 1139 of the Planning and Zoning Code.
