1379.03   INVESTIGATION BY BUILDING COMMITTEE.
   If, upon completion of an examination by the Director of Public Service and a record of the same, the Director finds any building or structure or portion thereof to be unsafe, he or she shall request the Building Committee to conduct an investigation of the building or structure or portion thereof which had been reported to be unsafe or damaged. The Committee shall, within a reasonable time after receipt of a request from the Director, examine the same and file a written report of the examination. The report shall include the recommendation of a majority of the Committee with the Director. In making the determination, the Committee may require the premises to be examined by specialists or technicians who shall submit their written reports to the Committee. The Committee shall consist of the Municipal Engineer, the Fire Chief and a Building Official as appointed by the Mayor.
