1325.16   NOTICE OF REVOCATION.
   The Director of Public Service shall notify the registrant of the revocation of the certificate by serving the registrant personally or by leaving at or mailing to his usual place of business as stated on the application ,a copy of the notice. The notice shall concisely state the reason for revocation and shall state that the certificate will stand revoked on the fifth day from the date of the notice unless the applicant appears within such time and appeals to the Municipal Engineer. The Municipal Engineer shall promptly meet and hear the appeal and determine whether the application was properly revoked. The decision of the Municipal Engineer shall be final. If the decision is that the revocation was proper, the certificate of registration shall stand revoked. If no appeal is taken, the certificate of registration shall stand revoked on and after the fifth day following the date of the notice. In the event of revocation, the former registrant shall not thereby be precluded from submitting an application for further registration.
