666.19   PROHIBITION ON RESIDENCY.
   (a)   No person who has been convicted of, is convicted of, has pleaded guilty to, or pleads guilty to either a sexually oriented offense or a child-victim oriented offense, as defined in the Ohio Revised Code, shall establish a residence or occupy residential premises within 1,000 feet of any school premises, preschool, child day care center premises, library, or public park.
   (b)   Any person who violates this section and continues to occupy or establish a residential premises within the prohibited residency zone after ten days notice from the Director of Public Safety is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
   (c)   Notice shall be given as provided in Section 4.1 of the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure.
   (d)   Nothing in this section shall prevent the Prosecutor from taking action against a person convicted of a sexually oriented offense who is required to register as a sexual offender as provided in Ohio R.C. Chapter 2950, or as may be amended after enactment of this section.
