Council hereby approves, ratifies and adopts for immediate implementation and enforcement the newly promulgated rules and regulations for the Division of Fire, a copy of which is on file in the office of Council. The Director of Public Safety is hereby authorized and directed to inform and acquaint all members of the Fire Division with the adoption and effect of such new rules and regulations. The rules and regulations may be amended or modified by the Director as may prove necessary. However, twenty-four hours written notice shall be provided to the Clerk of Council before any such change in such rules and regulations is effective.
