In addition to their regular compensation, a longevity pay for members of the Division of Fire, within rank, shall be paid as follows:
(a) After five years of service, the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00) per year shall be paid, the same to be paid monthly;
(b) After ten years of service, the sum of four hundred dollars ($400.00) per year shall be paid, the same to be paid monthly;
(c) After fifteen years of service, the sum of six hundred dollars ($600.00) per year shall be paid, the same to be paid monthly;
(d) After twenty years of service, the sum of eight hundred dollars ($800.00) per year shall be paid, the same to be paid monthly;
(e) After twenty-five years of service, the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000) per year shall be paid, the same to be paid monthly;
(f) After thirty years of service and thereafter the sum of one thousand two hundred dollars ($1,200) per year shall be paid, the same to be paid monthly.
