(a) There is hereby established the City of Parma Emergency Beacon Light Program. The following stipulations shall apply to this program:
(1) There shall be a limit of two emergency beacon lights per household at the referenced prices:
A. Part A - Parma residents who are:
1. Age 65 and over or medically/physically challenged: $2.00 each light
(Proof required)
2. A registration form, attached as Exhibit "A" to original Ordinance 141-02, must be completed to be eligible for this discount.
3. Funds for this part of the Emergency Beacon Light Program in FY 2002 will be provided by the Community Development Block Grant Program. All proceeds from this part of the program will be deposited to and credited as income to Fund No. 216-216-HUD Program Income.
B. Part B:
1. All others (non-senior Parma residents and non-Parma residents): $6.00 each light.
2. A registration form, attached as Exhibit "B" to original Ordinance 141-02, must be completed to be eligible for this price.
3. Funds collected from Part B, i.e. sale receipts, donations and other sources, shall be deposited into the Emergency Beacon Light Program Revenue Fund and shall be for the purchase and distribution of the emergency beacon lights.
(b) The Auditor is hereby authorized and directed to create and maintain the Emergency Beacon Light Program Revenue Fund.
(c) The Auditor is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this section to the Auditor of the State and to request approval of the creation of said fund.
