(a) The Division of Police is hereby authorized to provide police protection to any county, municipal corporation or township of this State without a contract to provide police protection. Such police protection outside the limits of the City shall be rendered by authority of the supervisor of the shift.
(b) The provisions of Ohio R.C. 701.02 shall apply to all police officers when rendering services outside the limits of the City.
(c) The provisions and benefits provided in Ohio R.C. 4123.01 to 4123.94, inclusive, shall apply to the same extent as when such officers are performing services within the limits of the City.
