The building official, Director of Planning and Development Services or designee may, at any time, make such inspection as may be necessary or appropriate to ascertain whether any sign will comply or is complying with this chapter and other applicable laws. If required by the building official, an inspection shall be called for the permittee upon the completion of the structural portions of every sign and before the structural connections to the building or structure are concealed or covered.
