16.11.010   Purposes and intent.
   This chapter is necessary to protect the health and safety of the residents of Palo Alto and the surrounding region from water quality degradation caused by stormwater run off. This chapter has been enacted and shall be implemented in a manner consistent with the requirements of the California Regional Water Quality Control Board applicable to the City of Palo Alto. This chapter shall be supplemental to the requirements of Chapter 16.09 [Sewer Use] with respect to stormwater.
