No person shall refuse, resist or attempt to resist the entrance of a health officer into any railway car, vehicle, building, room, lot or other place, or portion thereof, in the performance of duty, or resist, hinder or interfere with the health officer in the performance of any examination, or refuse to obey any lawful order of a health officer made in the performance of duty within the power conferred upon the health officer by this code or by any law of the city or law of the state.
