The President of Council, or in the absence of a President of Council any member of Council designated by the majority vote of Council, in that order, shall become the Acting Mayor with all the powers of the Mayor in the event the Mayor, or one acting in that capacity for him, is temporarily (a) absent from the Municipality, (b) inaccessible, or (c) unable or unwilling for any cause or reason to perform the duties of the Mayor. While serving as Acting Mayor, the President of Council or other Council Member shall be entitled to vote on all matters. (Amended 11-5-13)
