Farm animals shall only be kept in agricultural districts of the City or other districts as allowed in the City zoning ordinance and pursuant to restrictions set forth in the zoning ordinance. An exception shall be made to this section for those farm animals brought into the City as part of an operating zoo, veterinarian clinic, scientific research laboratory, or licensed show or exhibition.
