§ 31.01 ELECTION DATE.
   Pursuant to M.S. § 205.07, Subd. 1, as it may be amended from time to time, the city shall hold regular municipal elections on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November in every even-numbered year.

§ 31.02 TERM OF OFFICE.
   Two Council members shall be elected for four-year terms at each biennial election. The Mayor shall be elected for a two-year term at each biennial election. The terms of elective officers shall commence on the first business day of January following the election at which the officer was elected.
