Sec. XIII-1. EFFECTIVE DATE OF CHARTER.

The provisions relating to fixing the compensation of officers of the Municipality to be elected in 1959, together with Articles I, II, VIII, IX and Sections 9 and 10 of Article III and Sections 5 and 8(b) of Article VII of this Charter shall be in effect from and after the date of its approval by the electors of the City. For all other purposes the Charter shall be in effect on and after the first day of January, 1960.
