§135.33 BUSINESSES; DENIAL OF ENTRY.
   (A)   During any period that the City is in Phase 1 through 4, inclusive, of the Restore Illinois Plan as determined by the Governor of the State of Illinois and except as exempted in § 135.34, it shall be unlawful for any business in the city to permit its employees to interact with customers in person in an public indoor space of the business or in a public outdoor space of the business where maintaining a six-foot social distance from other persons is not always possible unless the person is wearing a face covering which covers their nose and mouth and that is designed and made to mitigate, filter, or restrict the transmission of the person's breath when exhaling from the person's nose and mouth.
   (B)   During any period that the city is in Phase 1 through 4, inclusive, of the Restore Illinois Plan as determined by the Governor of the State of Illinois and except as exempted in § 135.34, it shall be unlawful for any business in the city to permit the customers of the business to enter the business or to remain in any public indoor space of the business or in a public outdoor space of the business where maintaining a six-foot social distance from other persons is not always possible unless the person is wearing a face covering which covers their nose and mouth and that is designed and made to mitigate, filter, or restrict the transmission of the person's breath when exhaling from the person's nose and mouth.
   (C)   During any period that the city is in Phase 1 through 4, inclusive, of the Restore Illinois Plan as determined by the Governor of the State of Illinois and except as exempted in § 135.33, a business owner or operator may refuse admission or refuse service to any person who fails to wear a face covering which covers their nose and mouth and that is designed and made to mitigate, filter, or restrict the transmission of the person's breath when exhaling from the person's nose and mouth.
