§ 2-25 PASSAGE OF ORDINANCES.
   (a)   Every ordinance shall be in force and shall become law from the adoption by the Board of Aldermen unless otherwise ordered.
   (b)   Two readings on separate and different dates shall not be required, except franchise ordinances as required by the General Statutes.
   (c)   A true copy of each ordinance passed by the Board of Aldermen shall be filed and indexed in an ordinance book separate and apart from the Board’s minute book until such ordinance shall have been codified.
