§ 2-10 VESTING AND EXERCISE OF CORPORATE POWERS.
   (a)   The corporate powers of the town shall be vested in and exercised by the Town Manager and Board of Aldermen, as provided in this chapter; and such officers and agents as are provided for in this chapter, subject to such limitations as may be imposed by this chapter; and the executive and administrative powers, authority and duties are distributed as set forth in this chapter. The government of the town and general management and control of all its affairs shall be vested in such Board, except that the Town Manager shall have the authority specified in this chapter.
   (b)   G.S. Ch. 160A entitled “Cities and Towns,” and amendments thereto, shall be deemed a part of the Charter of the town, and shall apply to this town, except where the same is inconsistent with the Charter or inapplicable to this town.
