§ 6-93 SAME – EFFECT OF FAILURE TO REDEEM.
   If after ten days no proof of ownership is established, such motor vehicle seized under § 6-91 shall be sold at public auction at the Town Hall to the highest bidder for cash after first advertising such sale by posting a notice on the seized vehicle, on the Town Hall door, and in three other public places in the town for 20 days; and out of the proceeds of such sale all costs and charges due for towing, storage and the expenses of seizure and sale of such vehicle or other motor vehicle shall be paid; and the surplus, if any, shall be deposited with the Town Treasurer and held by him or her and paid to the owner of such motor vehicle upon proof of ownership.
