In residential areas of this town there shall be a limit of seven days’ parking by the owner, lessee or tenant of the premises, or of a visitor in the premises of the owner, lessee or tenant. Parking of motor vehicles of anyone other than the persons mentioned above in residential areas shall be limited to 24 hours. It shall be the duty and responsibility of any person cited for overtime parking in accordance with this subsection to prove to the satisfaction of the court hearing the case that he or she falls within one of the classes of persons mentioned herein.
