(a) There is hereby established a fee as set forth in Chapter 214 of the Administration Code for the use of the City Jail facilities for the housing of prisoners by other governmental entities and private pay prisoners.
(b) The City shall also be reimbursed for necessary medical expenses incurred for any prisoner who is a private pay prisoner or is the responsibility of any other governmental entity.
(c) The Chief of Police or his or her designee shall keep an accurate record of the use of the City Jail facilities by any other governmental entities and shall promptly provide for the invoicing of the governmental entity using such facilities.
(d) Private pay prisoners are required to pay in full for the use of the jail facilities in advance of their incarceration.
(e) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to accept any and all moneys paid to the City for the use of the City Jail, which moneys to be deposited into the General Fund.
