(a) The application for the certificate of appropriateness shall be made on such forms as prescribed by the Administrator and/or Committee on Design and Preservation, along with such plans, drawings, specifications, and other materials as may be needed by or beneficial to the Committee.
(b) Applications for the certificate of appropriateness shall be filed with the Administrator at least fifteen days prior to any scheduled meeting of the Committee on Design and Preservation.
(c) The Committee shall conduct a hearing on the application for a certificate of appropriateness within sixty days of the filing of the application and shall make its decision approving, denying, or denying with proposed modifications such application within fourteen days of such hearing as previously set forth herein. All decisions of the Committee shall be served forthwith upon the applicant by regular U.S. mail, postage pre-paid.
(d) Any applicant aggrieved by the decision of the Committee on Design and Preservation may file an application for a variance or appeal the decision to the Board of Zoning Appeals within thirty days of the date a decision is rendered by the Committee. Any applicant aggrieved by the decision of the Board of Zoning Appeals may appeal timely to the Court of Common Pleas of Licking County, Ohio for relief in accordance with Ohio R.C. Chapter 2506.
