1070.04 INITIATION OF PROPOSALS; PUBLIC MEETING FOR CONSIDERATION BY CITIZENS ADVISORY COUNCIL ON RECREATION.
   Preliminary consideration of naming or re-naming proposals by Council may be initiated by any citizen, group, or elected or appointed official and shall be directed to the Clerk of Council. The Clerk of Council shall direct the request to the City of Newark Citizens Advisory Council on Recreation established and existing pursuant to Charter Article 11.04 for public input and review. In considering proposals for naming and re-naming of public lands and/or facilities, the Citizens Advisory Council on Recreation shall provide for meaningful public input during a public meeting of the Council with ample opportunity for citizen input and after adequate public notice of such public meeting.
