No person quarantined by the Board of Health because he is infected with a contagious disease or because he has been exposed thereto shall leave such quarantined house or place without the written permission of the Board of Health. Where another inmate of such house has been exposed to and is liable to become ill of any such disease, such person shall not leave such quarantined house for such period thereafter as may be prescribed in the rules and regulations of the State Department of Health.
