Clean wastewater from air conditioning, cooling or condensing systems, or from swimming pools (if dechlorinated - typically less than 1ppm chlorine), shall be discharged to a storm sewer. Where a storm sewer is not available, clean wastewater shall be discharged to a combined sewer or to a natural outlet, only with the approval of the Director of Public Service and the OEPA. Where neither a storm sewer, combined sewer or natural outlet is available, clean wastewater may be discharged to a sanitary sewer only with the written approval of the Director.
